Welcome to the Trade Vehicle Sales Ltd website. By browsing and using this website, or by purchasing a vehicle from us, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.

1. General Information

2. Vehicle Sales & Descriptions

  • Accuracy: While we take every care to ensure vehicle specifications, mileages, and prices are correct on our website, errors may occur. We reserve the right to amend prices or details without notice.

  • Inspection: We strongly recommend that all customers inspect and test drive a vehicle before purchase.

  • Mileage: Recorded mileages are checked against available records; however, unless specifically stated, mileage is not guaranteed.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).

  • A holding deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.

  • Final payment must be made via cleared funds (Bank Transfer or Debit Card) before the vehicle is released. We do not accept large cash payments in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

4. Finance and Credit Broking

  • Status Disclosure: Trade Vehicle Sales Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender. We may receive a commission for introducing you to a finance provider.

  • Applications: All finance is subject to status and income. Applicants must be 18 or over.

5. Part Exchange

  • Any valuation given for a part-exchange vehicle is an estimate until a physical inspection is carried out at our Warwick Road Garage.

  • We reserve the right to adjust or withdraw a part-exchange offer if the vehicle’s condition, history, or mileage differs from the description provided by the customer.

6. Consumer Rights & Returns

  • In-Store Purchases: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, vehicles must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

  • Distance Selling: If you purchase a vehicle entirely online or over the phone without visiting our showroom, you may be entitled to a 14-day “cooling-off” period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Specific terms regarding delivery costs and mileage deductions will apply.

  • Warranty: All vehicles come with a [Insert Duration, e.g., 3-month] “no-quibble” warranty unless otherwise stated (e.g., trade-clearance vehicles).

7. After-Sales, Servicing & MOTs

  • Bookings for Service, MOT, or Repairs are subject to availability.

  • We are not liable for any indirect losses (e.g., loss of business earnings) while a vehicle is in our workshop for repair.

8. Limitation of Liability

Trade Vehicle Sales Ltd shall not be liable for any consequential loss or damage arising out of the use of this website or the purchase of a vehicle, except where such liability cannot be excluded by English law.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
